quite an info-heavy course, but if you care about the topic, you'll enjoy it! goes through the history of ancient Egypt chronologically. assignments are spread out throughout the semester, which is helpful (and there's leniency with late penalties and extensions). exam was quite difficult but generously curved.

prof Siegel is incredibly passionate, which makes the course very engaging. he tends to go on tangents, so lectures can run a bit long.

make sure to take lots of notes so studying for the final is easier! and do contact your TA for feedback on assignments! it's extremely useful :)
